F-86 Sabre USAF Papercraft

E-mail Print

Design by Timmy Arditio (Indonesia). The North American Aviation F-86 Sabre (sometimes called the Sabrejet) was a transonic jet fighter aircraft. The Sabre is best known for its Korean War role where it was pitted against the Soviet MiG-15 and obtained UN air superiority. Although developed in the late 1940s and outdated by the end of the 1950s, the Sabre proved adaptable and continued as a front line fighter in air forces until the last active front line examples were retired by the Bolivian Air Force in 1994. F4U-1D Corsair Diorama Papercraft

Another diorama model from Rizky Ferriansyah, this time is a plane from my favorite childhood tv serial "Baa Baa Black Sheep". It's F4U-1D Corsair complete with moto tug which all adopted 1/35 scale. The Chance Vought F4U Corsair was a carrier-capable fighter aircraft that saw service primarily in World War II and the Korean War. Goodyear-built Corsairs were designated FG and Brewster-built aircraft F3A. The Corsair served in smaller air forces until the 1960s, following the longest production run of any piston-engined fighter in U.S. history (1942–1952). Some Japanese pilots regarded it as the most formidable American fighter of World War II. The U.S. Navy counted an 11:1 kill ratio with the F4U Corsair. [Wikipedia]F4U-1D Corsair

US Coast Guard HC-130H Papercraft

E-mail Print

Based on L-100-30 Hercules I modified its fuselage and recolor it into USCG plane. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of seven uniformed services. It is unique among the military branches in that it has a maritime law enforcement mission (with jurisdiction both domestically and in international waters) and a federal regulatory agency mission as part of its mission set. It operates under the Department of Homeland Security during peacetime, and can be transferred to the Department of the Navy by the President or Congress during a time of war.[Wikipedia]
